Diamond Platnumz & Sauti Sol Rock MultiChoice’s Party
On the opening day of MultiChoice Africa’s content showcase in Mauritius, it was mainly Nigerian artistes that performed.
This didn’t go well with a section of journalists who were in attendance.
They repeatedly accused MultiChoice of favouring Nigerians and South Africans throughout the showcase.
But MultiChoice denies the claims. As if to prove its critics wrong, it lined up mainly East African artistes for the closing ceremony of the week long event that closed over the weekend.
And they didn’t disappoint!
Sauti Sol were the first to get on the stage, taking the audience on a ride through their songs that included; Shake Yo Bam Bam, Still the One, Sofia, Subira, Asante sana baba and others.
But as always, it was their hit ‘Shura Yako’ that got everyone to their feet.
Its performance began with Sauti taking the audience through the dance moves then invited the Kenyan contingent to stage halfway the song.
Their electric performance was followed Negeria’s Patoranking.
He put up an amazing performance, kicking off with his reggea hit ‘Alibharika’. This was followed by other songs that included ‘Girl O’ & ‘My Woman’.
This ceremony was sealed by Tanzania’s popstar, Diamond Platnumz. He performed over 10 songs including his hit ‘Number One’ but it was his energetic dance moves that remained the talking point of the night.

Shocked school pupils record their head teacher and his deputy making love in the office
South Wales: A headmaster and a
woman teacher were allegedly recorded by a pupil making love behind the closed
door of the head's office, a disciplinary hearing was told today.
Head Graham
Daniels, 51, and chemistry teacher Bethan Thomas, 37, face being struck off if
found guilty of being overheard from outside closed door.
The camera phone's
'sex tape' was then put online by pupils. A disciplinary hearing was launched

in Swansea, South Wales, after the tape emerged.
Now both could be struck off
the teaching register if found guilty of "unacceptable professional
conduct" at the Cardiff disciplinary hearing of the Education Workforce
Committee.

The attacker now is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with bond set at $2.5 million. Hoover police received a 911 call at 3:30 a.m. Sunday from a resident at The Park at Galleria Apartments.
The girl's parents told lawmen they woke up when they heard a noise and discovered an intruder inside the apartment. The father, said Capt. Gregg Rector, fought with the suspect and was able to restrain him while the mother called police. Officers later learned the suspect had sexually assaulted the girl prior to being discovered by the father.
He is charged with second-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree attempted sodomy, sexual abuse of a child less than 12 and first-degree sexual abuse/forcible compulsion. His bond is $500,000 for each of the five felony charges.
"The parents of this young victim did a great job in their response to an intruder. The father punched the suspect in the face and was then able to physically restrain him until officers arrived,'' Rector said. "This young girl immediately told her parents what had occurred. Our officers responded to what they believed was a burglary in progress and it turns out it was something much worse."
"It takes a really horrible human to commit such an act as this. This suspect will now have to face the consequences of his actions,'' Rector said. "The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office made certain that an appropriate bond amount was set. We're a safer society when individuals such as this are locked away.

I told him i wasn’t ready for that, i need the results so that i seek a second and a third opinion before i settle for a surgery. The doctor (Mugo) said he was going to examine me before we later on schedule for a surgery. I told him someone accompanied me at the hospital i needed to inform him that i was being examined, Dr. Mugo told me he will send someone to inform him, and the examination was going to take just 20minutes.
I kept my phone in my sling bag, was told to remove my trousers, after that was given the some clothe (surgery patients) to wear and told to climb ontop of the bed. I was begining to get scared, he sensed it but assured me it was just an examination.
I was told to open my mouth, below my tongue, was given around 4 or 5 tablets, and he sent for a line injection which was put on my left hand. Little did i know the drugs were going to sedate me. Next thing i remember, i woke up in a room that looked like a ward, i was covered by a sheet, i didn’t have my pants on, was on my pz had a tampon which was removed
